Arctic Sea ehf., company ID (kennitala) 650399-2269, is the operator and data controller for the staffing list and enquiry forms. It operates under the trading name Icelandic BPO ehf. Contact: icelandicbpo@arcticsea.com.

Joining the staffing list

We collect your name, email address, the time you signed up and the version of this notice you accepted. With your consent, Arctic Sea ehf., operating as Icelandic BPO ehf., uses these details to keep a list of people interested in future work and contact you about suitable opportunities. Joining does not create an employment relationship or guarantee a role.

Business enquiries

We collect your name, email, company, selected service, team and reporting preferences, language and any message you include. We use these details to respond and discuss potential work. Please do not include sensitive personal information.

Storage and email forwarding

Submissions are stored in the website’s database on Icelandic BPO’s VPS. We also forward submissions to icelandicbpo@arcticsea.com using FormSubmit. This means FormSubmit and our email provider process the submitted details. FormSubmit states that it retains submissions in its archive for 30 days. See FormSubmit’s privacy information.

Submitted details are available to the authorised site operator and are not published on the website. The website does not install advertising or analytics trackers. The server keeps operational logs to maintain the service.

Keeping and removing your details

Your details remain on the list while you wish to be considered or while your enquiry is relevant. After submitting, you receive a private link that deletes that entry from the active website database. Save the link or download your confirmation. No automatic confirmation email is sent to applicants.

The link is a private access credential: anyone holding it can remove that website entry. Removal from the database does not recall copies already sent by email or remove provider backups. To withdraw consent, request deletion of email copies, correct your details or ask about your data, email icelandicbpo@arcticsea.com. We may need to verify your identity.

Protecting the forms

To limit spam, the service stores a one-way hash of the connecting IP address combined with a ten-minute time window, with a request count. Expired rate-limit records are cleared when the form is next used. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the application’s rate-limit table.
